Called “Ovi Life Tools”, the new service will help farmers pose queries on crop price, fertiliser use, weather condition, soil health and the right sowing season, and domain experts will provide the answers. In the case of entertainment, the main service is music download, for which the network assures access to as many as four million legal tracks in various genres.

RCom customers will now be able to download music up to 12 GB data usage with the help of this service. In education, the subscriber can get information on aspects such as career management and jobs. The company said Ovi Life tools will be offered under two packages — subscription-based and pay per use. While the subscription charges for education and entertainment are Rs 30 a month, the agriculture service costs Rs 60. The pay-per use is priced at Rs 3 per request.
