Tata Motors reported 7.08 per cent decline in consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2014 at Rs 3,290.86 crore compared to Rs 3,541.86 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Net sales for the company grew 8.03 per cent to Rs 60,163.99 crore compared to Rs 55,686.87 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Revenues for Jaguar Land Rover during the quarter grew 4.2 per cent to 4,808 million pounds compared to 4,612 million pounds in the same quarter last year.
Profit after tax for JLR grew 40.9 per cent to 1,143 million pounds compared to 811 million pounds in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said.
