West Bengal govt 'desperate' to get Infosys to invest in state

"We are desperate to get Infosys in West Bengal. Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee has said all efforts be made to get the IT company in the state," Housing and Public Health Engineering Minister Goutam Deb said today.

The state has offered 50 acres to Infosys, which had asked for 100 acres, at Rajarhat New Town on the outskirts of Kolkata.
