Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday remained evasive on whether he would support BSP supremo Mayawati for the post of prime minister after the next Lok Sabha polls.
''You (media) know whom I will support,'' Akhilesh said.
''Uttar Pradesh has given several prime ministers to the country. I will be happy if someone from UP becomes the prime minister,'' he said.
It was not clear if he was referring to Mayawati or Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who is also an MP from Uttar Pradesh.
