I.N.D.I.A. bloc on Tuesday released its poll manifesto titled 'Bihar Ka Tejashwi Pran' for the upcoming Assembly elections.
In a post on X, Congress shared a video saying, "Our goal is to free Bihar from the misrule of BJP-JDU and provide every Bihari with respect, security, facilities, and appropriate opportunities."
The manifesto talks about employment, introduction of Old Pension Scheme.
I.N.D.I.A. bloc manifesto for Bihar polls has 25 major points assuring practical solutions, said RJD's Tejashwi Yadav.
"Bihar prohibition law has completely failed; I.N.D.I.A. bloc will remove ban on toddy if voted to power," he added.
The manifesto promises IT parks, SEZs, dairy, agro-based industries, education city, 5 new expressways.
"Employment guarantee scheme to be implemented across Bihar within 20 months of I.N.D.I.A. bloc govt formation," Tejashwi said.
"People of Bihar want crime-free, scam-free regime. People will teach lesson to NDA in polls."
"BJP, corrupt officials reduced Nitish to puppet. I have sympathy with him. Amit Shah made it clear Nitish will not be Bihar CM if NDA wins Bihar polls," the RJD leader said.
A banner was put at the manifesto release venue featuring the photographs of all prominent I.N.D.I.A. bloc leaders.
A press conference of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc leaders held in Patna on October 23 triggered a controversy as the banner featured only the photograph of Tejashwi Yadav and no other leader of the alliance.
While senior Congress leader Pawan Khera represented his party, CPI(ML) Liberation general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, VIP party chief Mukesh Sahni and other I.N.D.I.A. bloc leaders were also present.
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will join the I.N.D.I.A. bloc campaign for the Bihar polls on Wednesday, said Khera and Yadav.
