It all started with the RJD post on X in Hindi where it said that reports pouring in from across the state indicate all kinds of betrayal and deceit within the NDA with each constituent hell-bent on backstabbing others.

"The BJP and the LJP supporters are not voting for the JD (U). While the JD(U) men are not rooting for the BJP and the LJP.... deep conspiracy within the NDA...many aspirants for CM post within the BJP and LJP.... don’t vote for those engaged in betraying each other. Vote for Tejashwi government if you want a government job,” wrote the RJD on X in the vernacular language.

Taking umbrage over such allegations, the JD (U) hit back at the RJD through social media and posted a stern message for all. “Do not waste your vote while rooting for the ‘lalchi bandar’ (greedy monkey). These people, through dilapidated lanterns, are selling dreams and aiming to come to power by promising the moon. Those on crutches will not be seen in Bihar once the election is over. Nor will the leader who has built an edifice on the foundation of falsehood. The fact is voters are rooting for those who ushered in development....The NDA is moving ahead towards majority,” posted the JD (U), slamming the RJD and the Congress in no uncertain terms.

Delhi CM jumps throws hat in the ring

Amid the RJD-JD (U) slugfest, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta jumped in too and termed the Opposition leaders as 'khalnayak', meaning villains.

“The Khalnayak will go to jail after the election, while the Nalayak will holiday abroad,” said the Delhi CM, without naming Tejashwi and Rahul Gandhi.

“The one who is involved in corruption charges, that Khalnayak will be put behind bars, while the Nalayak, who misleads people, will go abroad for holidaying,” she said while addressing a rally in Bihar on Thursday.
