Bihar Election Results 2025 Highlights | BJP-led NDA secures three-fourth majority, bags 204 seatsThis blog is now closed. NDA registered a resounding victory in Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, winning 204 of the 243 seats. The Mahagathbandhan alliance, on the other hand, barely managed to cross 30 seats. The BJP has emerged as the single-largest party winning 89 seats, while its alliance partner JD (U) won 85 seats. Bihar Election Results 2025 LIVE : Bihar readies for counting of votes to decide whether state would see Nitish's fifth term or change

Bihar registered a historic voter turnout of 67.13 per cent in the elections to the 243-member assembly in two phases on November 6 and 11.

Counting of votes will begin at 8 am, and the trends and results are likely to start trickling in by 9 am. A total of 46 counting centres have been enumerated by the Election Commission across 38 districts in the state.
