He held a meeting with senior AAP leaders on future strategy, called winning MLAs to his house to instruct them to ensure that the BJP government remains on its toes over implementing its promises and telling defeated candidates that they will be deployed across India to expand the party's outreach.

Before his separate meetings with successful and unsuccessful candidates, Kejriwal first deliberated with senior leaders, including Sanjay Singh, Sandeep Pathak and Gopal Rai among others where discussions centred around future strategy and strengthening of AAP's role as an Opposition party in Delhi.

The leaders also discussed ways to put pressure on the BJP in fulfilling its poll promises.

In his meeting with 22 winning leaders, Kejriwal said AAP should ensure that Rs 2,500 per month for women promised by the BJP be implemented by March 8.

Former Chief Minister Atishi told reporters that Kejriwal instructed all the MLAs to serve the public with full commitment. Atishi also emphasised that AAP will act as a "responsible opposition", ensuring that the BJP fulfills its promises.

Separately, he also held a meeting of unsuccessful candidates where he said they would be deployed across the country to expand the party’s outreach.

After the meeting, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, "despite an electoral environment where government machinery, money, and liquor were openly misused, and election rules were blatantly violated, these candidates remained steadfast and fought courageously."

He said Kejriwal emphasised the importance of AAP candidates continuing their public service, regardless of the election outcome. Your experience will also play a crucial role in the party’s expansion across the country, with responsibilities extending beyond Delhi," Kejriwal was quoted as saying.

Sisodia said reviews and discussions would continue, as multiple factors contributed to the results.
