The results of the Delhi Assembly elections, announced by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday, saw the return of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the national capital after 27 long years.
In a major setback to the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Arvind Kejriwal-led party managed to win only 22 seats (as compared to 62 in 2020), while the BJP emerged victorious in as many as 48 seats, thereby ensuring the formation of the saffron party's government in Delhi in the upcoming term.
Congress failed to win a single constituency in the 70-seat Delhi Assembly, further adding to the existential woes of the grand old party.
With the Election Commission confirming the final results of each constituency, let's take a look at the percentage vote share of all the major political parties in the high-octane Delhi Assembly polls:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP): The saffron party tops the chart with 45.56 per cent votes amassed.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP): Following just behind is the Arvind Kejriwal-led party with 43.57 per cent votes.
Indian National Congress (INC): A distant third is Congress with 6.34 per cent votes to its name.
Janata Dal (United): The JD(U) could secure 1.06 per cent of votes.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM): Next up is AIMIM with 0.77 per cent votes.
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP): The BSP garnered 0.58 per cent votes.
Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas): The LJP(RV) received 0.53 per cent votes.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP): The NCP comes next with 0.06 per cent of votes.
Communist Party of India (CPI): The CPI ended with 0.02 per cent votes.
Communist Party of India (Marxist): The CPI(M), on the other hand, received 0.01 per cent of votes.
Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RASLJP): The RASLJP also received 0.01 per cent of votes.
Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation: The CPI(ML)(L) could not open the account and finished with 0.00 per cent votes.
All India Forward Bloc (AIFB): The AIFB, too, failed to garner any vote (0.00 per cent).
None of the Above (NOTA): 0.57 per cent of voters decided to go for NOTA.
Others: Another 0.93 per cent votes went in favour of other independent candidates.
