West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday said that she suspects BJP and RSS cadres are being deployed in the state in the uniform of the Central forces. She further alleged that in some places the Central force personnel are asking voters to vote for BJP.

“I suspect that RSS cadres are being deployed in West Bengal to conduct elections in the uniform of the Central forces. I have highest regards for the jawans of the Central force but I must say that they are being instructed to influence voters,” said Banerjee. She was addressing a rally in the Basanti area of South 24 Parganas district.

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo also alleged that one of her party workers were injured when the Central force jawans of BJP candidate from Ghatal constituency Bharati Ghosh opened fire.

“How can the Central forces do such a thing? Is it their duty to ask people to vote for BJP? You (Central force jawans) should be ashamed of doing such things,” said Banerjee.

She urged the Central forces not to be partial and said that today they are working under Prime Minister Narendra Modi but tomorrow they will be working under someone else.

“Now you are working under Narendra Modi but tomorrow you will be working under someone else. Then what will you do?” said Banerjee.

She also said that the BJP government at the Centre is using some retired officers to conduct elections and they are doing whatever they want.
