Upping the ante against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday dubbed his government as blacklisted.

"We are with the country and the people, but not with Modi and the blacklisted government," said Banerjee. She was addressing the gathering at a government program in Howrah district.

The Chief Minister also vowed to politically uproot Prime Minister and BJP president Amit Shah from the country.

"We will uproot the signboards of Modi and Amit Shah. The sooner they go the better for the country," said Banerjee.

The Chief Minister also questioned the launching of several government projects by the Prime Minister ahead of the election.

"What is the point of inaugurating projects when the government's expiry date is over?" asked Banerjee.
