Bollywood luminary Amitabh Bachchan, who is busy promoting his upcoming film 'Shamitabh' these days, has a surprise for his fans.

Reportedly, the 'Shamitabh' actor will taking up the role of an RJ to entertain fans on 93.5 RED FM this Thursday on Feb 5.

Fans can tune in to 'All India Shamitabh Radio' and talk to the legend.

Talking about this chat programme, COO of RED FM, Nisha Narayanan said, “In an endeavor to bring our listeners closer to the legendary star, we planned this initiative with ‘Shamitabh’ which celebrates Mr. Bachchan’s voice as the voice of the common man."

During a candid conversation with the reporters, Big B revealed that when he had come to Mumbai in 1960, he gave an audition for news reader on All India Radio. Shockingly, he was rejected.

However today, the megastar's voice has won over hearts across the world.
Mr. Bachchan will also be seen turning commentator for the much-awaited India-Pakistan match on Feb 15.

Helmed by R. Balakrishnan, 'Shamitabh' stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in lead roles.

The film is slated for a Feb 6 release.
