"I carry a camera with myself always and capture moments so that I can look back at them later and relive the memories," said Deepika.
"I shoot anything and everything, be it an interesting poster or people around," she added.
Beginning her career in showbiz with modelling, the actress made her Bollywood debut opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in 'Om Shanti Om' and is concentrating on her acting career now.
"My purpose today is to act, it is the most important thing for me now," said Deepika.
The 24-year-old actress was in the capital to launch the Cyber-shot 'Super wide shot Supermodel Campaign' of Sony India.
The actress is the face of many a brand these days and Deepika gives credit to her mass appeal and success in Bollywood for being one of the most sought after celebrities for brand endorsements.
"Consistency in films and the success ratio, fan following and the overall image are things which determine a celebrity's value. The reach that I have and also that I was a model earlier connect me to the product I endorse," said Deepika.
