Ranbir is undergoing a completely different kind of transformation than his last film for filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus Ramayana, touted as the biggest Indian film ever made. The 42-year-old actor is set to play dual divine roles, Lord Rama and Parashuram, demanding not just a shift in physicality but also in mindset. His new fitness regimen emphasises agility, precision, and a deeper spiritual and physical embodiment suited to these mythological figures.

Under the guidance of an elite team of trainers, Ranbir’s routine blends traditional gym workouts with intense outdoor training. His fitness coach Nam-Wook Kang recently gave fans a glimpse of the actor’s preparation through an Instagram post, revealing snippets of his rigorous sessions. The workouts include calisthenics in mid-air, high-intensity clap pull-ups, roman ring muscle-ups , kettlebell conditioning, battle ropes, outdoor running, hiking through rugged terrain, cycling, and swimming.

Each element of this diverse regimen is meticulously designed to enhance specific aspects of his performance, strength, endurance, flexibility, and grace, all crucial to portraying the essence of Lord Rama and Parashuram on screen.

Ramayana features a star-studded cast with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. With such an ensemble and the scale of production involved, excitement among fans is at an all-time high.
