Actor Ram Charan took to Twitter on Saturday (February 20) to share a special photo of his parents 'Megastar' Chiranjeevi and Surekha and wished them on their wedding anniversary. The mass hero described them as his 'strength', indicating that they are an inseparable part of his life.
'Annayya' tied the knot with Surekha, the daughter of the late Tollywood legend Allu Ramalingaiah, in 1980. Their 'bidda' Ram Charan was born in 1985 and eventually followed in his father's footsteps. The couple has two daughters, Sushmitha and Sreeja.

The veteran actor, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. He was last seen in the period-drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy that opened to a good response in the Telugu states but failed to make an impact in other markets. It revolved around a forgotten hero's fight against the British Rule and had a strong cast that included Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara, Sudeep, Niharika, Amitabh Bachchan and Jagapathi Babu.
Chiranjeevi is working on Acharya, which will mark his first collaboration with ace filmmaker Koratala Siva. The film features 'Mr C' in a key role and reportedly has a gripping storyline with political undertones. It stars Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady and is her second film with her Khaidi No 150 co-star.
Acharya was originally supposed to feature Trisha in the lead but that didn't happen as the Lion star opted out of the film over 'creative differences'. Chiranjeevi later claimed that she refused to be a part of his film as she wanted to work with Mani Ratnam.
Ram Charan, on the other hand, will soon be seen in the pan-India movie Rise Roar Revolt (RRR), which will mark his first collaboration with Jr NTR.
It has been directed by Baahubali helmer SS Rajamouli and revolves around the fictional adventures of two real freedom fighters. It has a star-studded cast that includes Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Visaranai actor Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran and Olivia Morris. RRR is slated to hit the screens on October 13.
