Justice V Ramasubramanian gave the interim order till June 8 after the actress filed a suit seeking Rs one crore in damages for exploiting her popularity for the company's business in breach of a one-year agreement.

In her petition, Tamanna alleged that the company had breached a one-year agreement dated October 7, 2008, to promote sale of its products by appearing as its brand ambassador.

She alleged that advertisement videos telecast in various channels, materials published in journals and wrappers carried her profiles and photos, after this period.

Due to the breach of agreement, the actress said she was forced into "unnecessary entanglements" in advertisement deals, particularly with Wipro Ltd. She said the company had not taken any corrective measures, despite repeated warnings and notices, forcing her to file a suit to claim compensation.
