Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar has received mixed reviews from the audience. In a recent remark, actor Hrithik Roshan praised the movie and shared that he personally "loved it."
Taking to Instagram, he shared a poster of Dhurandhar and wrote, "I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. DHURANDAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It's cinema."
The actor also acknowledged the ongoing controversy and politics around the film. He mentioned that he disagrees with the negative talks and supports this piece of work.
"I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can't ignore how I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing," he wrote on social media.
Dhurandhar film row
While the movie has hit the big screen, calls grow to boycott 'Dhurandhar' amid Ranveer’s 'unnecessary' mimicry of Daiva sparks controversy. The controversial act was not received positively by the netizens, and many criticised his act as disrespectful to the Tulunad tradition.
Also, the Delhi High Court on Monday asked the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to consider the objections of parents of Major Mohit Sharma, who was killed during a counter-terrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir, while granting certification to the film.
