The rain-mist combination has just proven alluring again. Vijayalakshmi Singh’s latest offering has plenty of the two and some snow. Sourcing her story from ‘Yeh Dillagi,’the director with help from writer Githa B U deviates enough to give a credible story on love. She is ably supported by cinematographer Ajayan Vincent and to some extent B A Madhu.

Except for a couple of songs, Mano Murthy remains in the background. The film also belongs to Parvathy. Keeping Suhasini Maniratnam as  a role model while dubbing, Parvathy soon becomes the sole attraction of the film. Such is her impact that her hero Kitti’s performance pales somewhat. Their chemistry however, is comfortable to watch and is the mainstay of the film. The director has chosen well. Each character, though seeming to be inconsequential, contributes.

The comedy track is passable. Malebarali Manju Irali is not without drawbacks. Nagakiran has to improve. The slow pace of the film may not be everybody’s cup of tea. The director has presented a fare that is best enjoyed on a slow, rainy and misty day.
