With a tale without a sting, Dhada is a cupid caper regurgitated in the belief that it will regale audiences. With neither a taut script nor strong storyline and totally devoid of substance, Dhada, debutant directorial foray by Ajay Bhuyan is a fetid fare.
Instead of a roller-coaster romance, picturised at picturesque places, the love-at-first-sight saga, wherein US-educated Vishwas falls for rich lass Riya (Kajal Agarwal), Dhada turns out to be a dreary drama where dons delay lovers having a smooth journey.
Besides romancing Riya, Vishwas has to battle the baddies — Dev and Dorjee — to save damsels in distress from being trafficked. Honestly, nothing works in Dhada. Strictly avoid or suffer for your folly.
