A group of aliens escaped to Earth and three of them have been killed. And fourth in the hit list is John Smith who moves from town to town to escape from his enemies. However, he decides to assert himself in Ohio where he discovers his paranormal power and the love of his life.
This is a fast action-packed thriller laced with romance. The love story, however, has been magnified unlike in the book. With excellent sound and graphic effects it certainly is appealing for a young audience. Even though there are omissions, this film is a big relief from mindless vampire and werewolves movies. The plot is like an open book and there are no big surprises. Like any average action movie, I Am Number Four is produced to keep all sections of the family entertained.
