A few websites had recently reported that actor Prabhas' upcoming film Salaar, to be directed by Prashanth Neel, is a remake of the top director's successful movie Ugramm. The KGF helmer has, now, dismissed the rumours and made it clear that the pan-India biggie has an original storyline. While interacting with the media, he said that the plot of the magnum opus has been written keeping 'Darling' in mind.

Salaar, backed by Hombale Films, is an actioner that features Prabhas in a new avatar. It is likely to have fight sequences and massy dialogues. The film stars Shruti Haasan as the leading lady and will mark her first collaboration with 'Baahubali'.

The buzz is that Bollywood star John Abraham might play the antagonist in Salaar if things go as planned. There have also been talks of Baaghi 2 actor Disha Patani essaying a key role in the film. One is likely to get clarity on these rumours in the coming months.

Prabhas, meanwhile, is going through a terrific phase on the work front. The mass hero, who was last seen in the action-thriller Saaho, is awaiting the release of Radhe Shyam. The romantic drama, directed by 'Jil' Radha Krishna, revolves around the journey of two passionate lovers. It stars Pooja Hegde as the leading lady and is her first film with the Mirchi actor.

The teaser of Radhe Shyam is likely to be released on Valentine's Day.

Prabhas will be seen playing Lord Ram in the Bhushan Kumar-backed mythological-drama Adipurush, an adaptation of the Ramayana. The film stars Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist 'Lankesh' and marks his Tollywood debut. The 'Young Rebel Star' also has a film with Bollywood's Deepika Padukone in his kitty.

Prashanth, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of the Kannada magnum opus KGF Chapter 2. The film stars Yash in the lead and revolves around the journey of 'Rocky Bhai'. The cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj and Raveena Tandon
