The Raja Saab was meant to be a grand homecoming for Prabhas, drawing thousands of eager fans to theaters across the country. Supporters hailed the film as the perfect festive blockbuster to kick-start their Makar Sankranti celebrations.

However, the initial euphoria turned to bitter disappointment as the movie unfolded into a visual and narrative 'torture.' Despite the massive turnout for the movie filmmaker Maruthi’s horror-fantasy, the film has been labelled a 'green-mat disaster' and has left the Rebel Star’s loyal supporters dejected.

The filmmaker is facing heavy backlash from the audience for his handling of Prabhas, with many viewers pointing out the 'tedious' screenplay and very amateurish VFX.

Audiences across the country echo similar feelings, and the movie failed to open to a positive response. Even with a high-profile ensemble featuring Sanjay Dutt and three leading ladies, the film’s weight rested entirely on Prabhas’ shoulders.

While the actor delivered a committed performance, his individual effort wasn't enough to stabilise a movie that struggled to find its footing.

Tagged a 'complete waste of money,' the movie is drawing heavy fire for its weak narrative and poor execution. Instead of the thrills and chills expected from the genre, the audience was met with a bland, dragging storyline and performances that lacked any real impact, making the entire viewing experience a struggle.

Following a string of underwhelming results with Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush, many of Prabhas’ followers took to social media to urge him to stop experimenting. The consensus among the fanbase is clear - they want the Rebel Star to return to his action-hero roots rather than venturing into experimental genres that fail to deliver the desired results.

Now the audience are pinned hopes on Sandeep Reddy Vanga for what he brings out from Prabhas in much anticipated movie Spirit.
