A large number of people had gathered at the Shopprix mall where the bollywood actor and his brother Sohail Khan were due to inaugurate a jewellery shop on Thursday.
But the fans got infuriated when only Sohail came for the function and started protesting against the organisers following which police cane charged the gathering.
In the melee atleast 12 persons suffered injuries, eyewitnesses said. However, no police officials spoke on the matter.
