The children, studying in Saraswati Sishu Mandir in Hazaribagh, were going to the Johna waterfall situated at Sikidiri area of Ranchi district.
However, the school bus developed a technical snag and the children were shifted to another bus. "The driver of the bus seemed to be drunk and lost control," a police officer said.
The injured students have been admitted to a local hospital and the condition of two is serious, he added.
