Ten-year-old Himanshu Dixit committed suicide by hanging himself in his room on Tuesday night in Talkatora locality. According to the family, Himanshu was an average student and had not prepared well for his examinations which had begun a few days ago, the police said.
On Tuesday, Himanshu left home for school with his brother and sister but did not attend classes. While his brother and sister returned home in the evening Himanshu returned late. Earlier also he was scolded by his teachers and parents on several occasions.
