In a fresh advertisement campaign, Cadbury Dairy Milk India rolled out a new ad video, which addressed the North-South language divide, conveying the message that embracing differences is also beautiful.

The advertisement opens with a couple of Hindi-speaking women sitting and chatting on a terrace, and a new neighbour who is a woman from Chennai, joins them.

Initially, she struggles due to her limited knowledge of Hindi.

But the women who can be seen talking in Hindi in the advertisement, notices her discomfort and tries to converse in English.

The Hindi-speaking woman uses broken English in her own way to explain and as the conversation goes on, the South Indian woman feels at ease, feeling included in the group.

The ad ends with the Hindi-speaking woman offering her a dairy milk chocolate lovingly, attempting to show that a little kindness is all it takes to bridge gaps, including the language barrier.

In an Instagram post, Cadbury Dairy Milk India shared the video along with a caption which read, "When we make an effort to ignore our differences and accept people for who they are, we create a better world. A sweeter world where everyone is welcome. #KuchAcchaHoJaayeKuchMeethaHoJaaye #CadburyDairyMilk"

The ad which received over 100K likes, garnered lots of replies appreciating the kindness and sweet gesture showed in it.

An Instagram user wrote, "Beautiful. Everyone these days fights and debates over north vs south Hindi vs regional languages. This is a beautiful message portrayed."
