In an assertion that the 13-year-old accident involving actor Salman Khan was indeed a case of drunken-driving and hit-and-run, the Mumbai Sessions Court ruled that the blood samples prove that the actor was inebriated and that he had not rendered medical assistance to the victims.

“He had not run medical assistance at the spot…..,” additional sessions judge D W Deshpande said. The order said that he did not possess a driving license and a liquor license and had knowledge that he should not drive under the influence of alcohol. “In the  blood test, the accused was found to have 0.062 mg of alcohol in blood stream which shows that he was under the influence of liquor,” said the judge.
