After Air India, Centre to divest BPCL, float LIC IPO

Following the successful completion of Air India disinvestment, the government expects to carry out the divestment of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) in the current financial year. Speaking to ANI, Secretary of Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) Tuhin Kanta Pandey said, “GoI expects to complete disinvestment of BPCL in second half of this financial year and hopes to launch IPO of LIC in the last quarter of the year, which is January to March.”
