Chhattisgarh is probably the only state where the number of coronavirus patents has gone down. With two of the eight patients being sent home after recovery in the state, only six cases are undergoing treatment.

AIIMS, Raipur superintendent Dr. Karan Pipare said it is a matter of satisfaction that second reports of the two patients, who were earlier found positive, are negative and they are being discharged. One of the patients is 68-year-old and the second is a 33-year-old man.

He said contrary to the popular perception that corona infection in old men cannot be cured, the AIIMS has succeeded in saving a 68-year-old man.”We hope other patients will be cured soon”.
