Soon, some autorickshaws in the city will carry posters condemning former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for ‘unfulfilled’ promises.
A faction of autorickshaw drivers which earlier supported the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has ordered 5,000 such poster in the first lot. Earlier, another group led by the Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh had said that it would campaign for the BJP.
“It is not about what Kejriwal has done. The question in fact is what he has not done,” said Rakesh Agarwal of Nyayabhoomi, an NGO which had rallied autorickshaw drivers for Kejriwal’s campaign during the recent Assembly elections.

Agarwal said AAP had assured autorickshaws would no longer be seized, but the penal provision 66/192 (A) of the Motor Vehicles Act which gives power to the Delhi Traffic Police to confiscate vehicles continues to exit.
