Taking a swipe at the Modi government, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday said he saw the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Aishawarya Rai and big business people at the Ram temple consecration in Ayodhya last month but the poor, labourers and farmers were no where to be seen.

"I saw Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Ambani, Adani, all the business people, but I did not see a single poor person. Not a single farmer was seen, not one labourer was seen, not one unemployed person was seen," he said.

Some people benefitting from system while others paying taxes and dying of hunger, says Rahul Gandhi in in Udaipur

Addrssing a gathering at Ramgarh chowk in Udaipur area of Chhattisgarh's Surguja district, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi  slammed the BJP-led Centre, claiming that only some people were benefitting from the "system" in the country while all the others were paying taxes and dying of hunger.

"If the people raise voice against anything, they have to face action by the ED, CBI and the I-T department," he said.
