This reversal of roles for the Bollywood legend may not even be with his knowledge as the ad features his role in the upcoming Mohanlal flick “Kandahar” directed by Major Ravi.
In fact, Mohanlal also has been shown along with Big B in the commercial which had been appearing in the papers here since Wednesday.
It identifies Bachchan as Loknath Sharma, the role he plays in the film and Mohanlal as Colonel Mahadevan. Though the ad has been released by “Lt Col Dr Mohanlal and Aashirwad Maaxlab Films” which distributes the film, it has been specified that GKSF is indeed a Kerala Government initiative. It was in March this year that the CPM central leadership halted a much-publicised move to commission the all-time Bollywood great to be the brand ambassador of the state.
