In the race for likes, followers, and fleeting internet fame, some people will go to absurd lengths, indulging in ridiculous public displace. One such YouTuber from Bihar recently filmed a video slapping a random train passenger that landed him in trouble.
The incident took place at Bihar’s Anugraha Narayan Road railway station where a man was caught on camera slapping a train passenger. The clip quickly went viral, sparking outrage.
In the viral clap, the man is seen approaching a moving train, casually slapping a random train passenger, and walking away as if nothing happened.
After the clip went viral on social media, authorities swiftly took action and the culprit, identified as Ritesh Kumar, was apprehended. Kumar was recording the video of the slap. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) confirmed via their official X account.
The RPF also posted an apology video by Kumar in which he admitted that his motive behind the video was social media fame. “I am a YouTuber. I make and post videos on Instagram to increase my followers. I came to Anugraha Narayan Road railway station and, to boost my follower count, slapped a passenger on a moving train. This was my mistake, and I won’t repeat it. Please forgive me,” he said.
