As former Karnataka DGP took charge as the new CBI director, Karnataka also got a new DGP in Dr Alok Mohan.

While taking charge he told ANI, "We held a meeting with Bengaluru city police today where all officers of rank DCP and above were present. We aim to make Bengaluru drug-free. There will be zero tolerance towards rowdy activities. No illegal activities will be allowed at any place in the city."

The President while inaugurating the new building of the Jharkhand High Court here said the authorities have to ensure that people get justice in the true sense.

"Chief Justice of India Justice (Dr D Y Chandrachud) and Union Law Minister (Arjun Ram Meghwal) and many senior judges are here. They should devise a system to deal with cases where the (court) verdicts are not implemented," Murmu said.
