Union Minister of Parliamentary AffairsPralhad Joshi slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks in Britain. Joshi said that the Congress leader made false claims about the nation on foreign soil. "This is the height of insult... to the Parliament. Asking other countries to intervene in the matters of India is a grave insult to the nation," Joshi said.
He added that the leader should apologise for his remarks on the floor of the House and strict action be taken against the leader.
Meanwhile, the proceedings in the Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till 11 am tomorrow amid ruckus over Adani issue.

"All of us are going to meet the Director of ED to submit a memorandum into Adani's scam. But the government is not letting us anywhere near Vijay Chowk, they have stopped us. There is a scam of lakhs of rupees, LIC, SBI andother banks are destroyed," saysCongress chief Mallikarjun Kharge.
"The government is giving money to one man to purchase government properties. PM is encouraging someone who had less assets earlier but now expanded to Rs 13 lakhcroreworth of assets. How did it happen? Who is responsible? Who is giving the money? There should be inquiry. What is the relation between PM Modi andAdani?" the Congress chief asks.

Opposition steps up heat on Centre over Adani issue as MPs march from Parliament to ED office
Leaders of several Opposition parties are now marchingfrom Parliament House to the office of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Delhi to hand over a complaint to the probe agency on the issue of the Adani Group's alleged stock manipulation.
The leaders met at the office of Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, in Parliament House complex, to coordinate their joint strategy on the issue.

Meanwhile, in Rajya Sabha, ruckus erupted after Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar rejected notices by Opposition MPs to discuss Adani issue. The House has been adjourned till 2 pm.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal asks the Chair to suspend the MPs who are disrupting the House proceedings. As the MPs continued to raise the slogans, Speaker Om Birla adjourned the proceedings till 2 pm.
