CBI's deputy inspector General Pravin Salunke told PTI that the investigations into the nexus cases in Goa have already been taken over by them.

"We will interrogate everyone upon whom we stumble during the investigation. Whoever he may be, we will question him," Salunke said.

CBI's statement came a day after Lucky Farmhouse, prime witness in the nexus, told PTI in an exclusive interview that Goa Home Minister Ravi Naik's son, Roy, had handed over drugs to her former boyfriend Yaniv Benaim alias Atala, an Israeli national.

Atala, an Israeli drug lord, was arrested in Goa following which the entire nexus was exposed. Seven policemen from Anti-Narcotic cell were arrested for selling drugs to the drug lords in the state.

CBI has taken over the investigation of three cases related to drug nexus after the High court directives.

Sources in CBI said that they have begun efforts to get in touch with Lucky after the PTI report.

A senior official said she would be asked to come to India for deposition and if its not possible for her, Interpol help would be sought to get her testimony.

Goa crime branch, which was investigating the case prior to CBI, has failed to get Lucky deposed although she was in Mumbai last year to shoot for a film.

The Swedish model had said that she is ready to cooperate with CBI, if they contact her.
