Kerala’s Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth, along with its off-campus Chinmaya Naadu Bindu in Pune, has got the deemed-to-be-university tag from the UGC.
The Human Resource Development Ministry has approved a proposal of giving status of deemed-to-be-university to the institutions under the de novo category. The Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth had applied for the grant of deemed university tag under de novo category in 2015.
