A policeman in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur town, however, did something which would perhaps put to shame his own colleagues. He stole a cellphone from the pocket of a dead man while examining a scene of mass murder at Janakpuri area in the town a few days ago.
The cop identified as Tejveer Singh, deployed at the Janakpuri police station, was however, caught after the electronic surveillance revealed that the cellphone was in his possession, police officials here said adding that he had been suspended from his post.
