A couple was found hanging dead along with their 11-month-old twins in their house near Avanashi in Tirupur district today, police said.
The neighbors, who grew suspicious on noticing that the front door of the house in Kurundagadu was closed for the last two days, broke it open only to see all the four hanging on the ceiling, police said.
On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for postmortem. Investigations are on to ascertain the reason for the family taking the extreme step, police said.
