A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was injured in a grenade attack in restive Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
Reports said militants hurled a grenade at 180 Battalion CRPF camp in the main town Tral in the evening, leaving a CRPF man wounded. The injured man was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
An official said the area was cordoned off to nab the attackers. The incident comes just a few hours after two National Conference workers were shot dead by militants in Srinagar. The state is scheduled to go for the first phase of civic polls on October 8.
