Indian Coast Guard ship Vikram rescued distressed fishing boat Badhriya with 3 fishermen from Kerala coast, which fears Tauktae cyclone, in a midnight operation on May 14. All crew safely boarded Vikram and are being taken to Kochi. India Meteorological Department on May 13 had issued alert that parts of state might face cyclone effects.
