Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lashed out at the TMC government in West Bengal after it denied permission to land his chopper in the state.

Adityanath, who was scheduled to address two rallies at Balurghat in South Dinajpur district and Raiganj in North Dinajpur district on Sunday, reached out to the gathering through an audio link from Lucknow.

“The days of the TMC government is numbered... Mamata Banerjee and the TMC should know that the BJP is in power in 16 states,” Adityanath said.

The UP chief minister further claimed that the state administration in Bengal is functioning like a “TMC worker.”

“If the TMC government thinks that it can stop us by not allowing choppers to land then its making a mistake. This is nothing new and will not deter us,” he said.

Describing the TMC government’s action as “ shameful,” the Uttar Pradesh chief minister said that he will “definitely come to Bengal again and if needed will hit the streets against the TMC government.”

Earlier, the state BJP leadership got into a tussle with the TMC government regarding the permission of landing of BJP president Amit Shah’s chopper.
