Farmer leader Shiv Kumar Kakka on July 22 slammed Minister of State of External Affairs and BJP leader Meenakashi Lekhi for calling anti-farm law protesters ‘hooligans’. “Such a remark is an insult to 80 crore farmers of India. If we're hooligans, Meenakashi Lekhi should stop eating foodgrain grown by us. She should be ashamed of herself. We've passed a resolution in 'Farmers' Parliament condemning her statement,” said Kaka.
