The court had earlier directed the CID to submit the report by Friday. The agency did submit a report but the court said it was incomplete. The court said any decision on ordering a CBI probe would be taken only after going through the complete report submitted by the CID.
The report, according to sources here, has pointed out the involvement of some police constables deployed at the Nighasan police station in the brutal murder of the teenager girl.
All the 11 police personnel deployed at the police station had been suspended after the incident on Friday night.
The family members of the girl alleged that the girl was raped before being murdered and her body was hanged from a tree to make it look like a suicide case. The body of Sonam was found hanging inside the police station premises on last Friday.
