"It is foolish to expect any kind of improvement in the system from the Central government to bring back black-money and end corruption, as it (itself) is responsible for the loot. Therefore I'm working to build public opinion against it," Ramdev on his Swabhiman Yatra told newspersons here.

"In democracy, mass awareness and public opinion lead to anger among the people which forces even political parties to mend their ways. We are working on creating mass awareness to bring such people on the right path," he said.

The yoga guru also asked people to "teach a lesson" to the Congress party by ensuring that its members do not reach the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.

To questions on whom to support in the coming elections, he said, "Those who are out to save the country."

Ramdev started his 10,000-km-long Bharat Swabhiman Yatra from Jhansi on September 20 which aims to "awaken people about corruption and black money".

When asked why he started the yatra from Uttar Pradesh, he said that it was because several works towards social, spiritual and nation building were started from here.
