Telangana, which got a pat on the back for hosting a hassle-free Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) that concluded on Thursday, announced three gifts for women entrepreneurs in the state.

The government will set up a Technology Fund (T-Fund) exclusively for women entrepreneurs. An incubator for start-ups by women, "We-Hub," will be set up on the lines of T-Hub. The government also announced a policy to procure 25% of the mandatory 20% purchase it has to make from the small and medium enterprises, from women entrepreneurs.

Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao made these announcements while summing up the deliberations of the GES 2017. He said modalities for the three initiatives would be worked out shortly."We are making these announcements enthused by the enthusiasm from women entrepreneurs at the Summit," he said. NITI Aayog, through the Atal Innovation Mission, would partner these initiatives.
