An IPS office and his IRS wife came to their rescue, the internet personality shared on Instagram.

The podcast host went on to say that he and his partner were swimming in the open sea when an underwater current swept them away.

"We're perfectly fine and well now. But yesterday at 6:00 pm or so, my girlfriend and I had to be rescued from a bit of a situation," Allahbadia said on his Christmas day post.

The YouTuber shared how he has always loved swimming in the open ocean and has been at it since he was a child. However, they had a brush with death on December 24, when the two were swept away.

Allahbadia said he struggled for five to ten minutes after which he began to lose consciousness. He managed to call for help and luckily a family was swimming nearby, and came to their rescue instantly.

"A casual, fun dip in the waves was interrupted by an underwater current that toppled both of us. The next thing we knew was that we were both struggling to stay afloat," he recounted.

Allahbadia remembered how there was a point where he swallowed a lot of water and began to fade away a bit. This was when he decided to call for help. The YouTuber expressed 'deep gratitude' to the civil servants who came to aid him.

Allahbadia has been insistent on not revealing his girlfriend's name, and true to form, he shared images that don't reveal her face.

"This experience left us feeling both blank as well as grateful. We felt the protection of God throughout the incident," he wrote, ending the message with a Christmas wish for his followers.
