Rain accompanied by thunder and lightning were reported from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) on Saturday evening.
The weathermen had predicted thundershowers of brief spells in the MMR on Sunday.
According to reports reaching here, there were thundershowers in Palghar and neighbouring Nashik district.
On Friday, one person was killed when lightning struck him near Mahalaxmi Temple while he was walking along Pedder Road during the thundershowers.
