"Who is responsible for this washout? It is the government that is responsible. Today, on the fifth day of Parliament, the House was adjourned...We have demanded that the govt should hold a two-day discussion on the 75th year of the Constitution. The govt has agreed to our demand but no date has been notified...The Adani issue is very important...In my 20 years of experience, it is the first time I am seeing that the government doesn't want the Parliament to function."

Bhupesh Baghel hit out at   Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) over its chief Mohan Bhagwat's remark that a “fertility rate of three" is required "for the society to survive.”

"People are not getting employment, education, health care facilities. What is the purpose of giving birth to more children? The people who are unmarried in RSS should be told to get married first...," he said.

Mamata reasserts authority in TMC, calls for discipline

West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee on Monday reaffirmed her position as the ultimate decision-maker in the party, issuing a stern warning to party leaders against indiscipline and unwarranted remarks.
