During the clash, Dhareppa Bagagol fired from his licenced revolver injuring Ramappa Jogi and Siddappa Jogi while another two were assaulted.
All the four seriously injured have been shifted to district hospital and their condition is stated to be stable. Another eight persons who also sustained injuries in the clash were admitted to a hospital in Gokak, police said.
The two groups have lodged complaint and counter complaints with Raibag police.
